INTRODUCTION
Building community through mentorship.
BobaTalks is a free mentorship platform — 10,000+ students, 200+ industry professionals, built entirely on community.
PROBLEM
The platform had no system.
Sessions were misaligned, mentors showed up without knowing what they needed. Mentees showed up without knowing what to say or how to prepare.
SOLUTION
Scheduling that focused on relationship building
Each mentor configures their own topics, FAQs, pre-session questions, and availability.
The system scales to 200+ mentors without any manual intervention — every profile is different, built on the same infrastructure.
THE PROCESS
From patchwork links to a system
I mapped the full journey from both sides and found the gap: there was no moment where preparation was asked for or delivered. I designed a 5-stage flow that built preparation directly into the process.
